Mac OS and Mac OS X use different characters from Windows to indicate the end of each line in a plain text or Rich Text Format (RTF) file. Windows places both a line feed and a carriage return character at the end of each line, but Mac OS uses only a carriage return character, and Mac OS X sometimes uses carriage returns and sometimes uses line feeds (but usually not both). To modify the formatting of all the text formatted as Heading 1, there’s no need to select each line of text and apply the Word formatting individually. The easiest way is to reformat one of them, then use that to update the style.

Is there a way to make it read straignt across? EXAMPLE: If I select the following from a transcript – 1 THE COURT; So, you are offering this for bla 2 bla bla bla bla 3 MS JONES, your Honor, I would like it to come out as above.

Instead, when I paste it, it comes out as below: 1 2 3 THE COURT, So, you are offering this for bla bla bla bla bla MS JONES, your Honor Any way to fix this? It would be much appreciated. Thanks, Virginia.
