I've been trying to do this myself, but have had issues with ansi-term ignoring the foreground colour and background colour settings in.muttrc: it insists on setting the background colour to X11 WhiteSmoke or gray96 (or thereabouts) rather than White. I'm currently running emacs and mutt within separate windows in screen, and screen honours the colour settings in both cases. Setting TERM to 'screen' doesn't make any different, but setting it to 'vt100' (rather than the default eterm-color) results in the correct background colour, but with broken reverse video.:-/ I've also tried playing with Emacs' ANSI Color Names Vector, without success.

All very annoying, since the resulting contrast problems make mutt-in-emacs a no-go for me.

Hi there, It seems send mail doesn't send mail to external mail account in my FreeBSD 4.8 BOX. However, I'm able to receive mail from external mail, such as yahoo, hotmail account. My config is: FreeBSD 4.8 ISP: bell Sympatico high speed with dynamic IP address. Quicken for mac 2018 torrent.
