Outlook For Mac Message Have Huge Text
I?ve googled and checked the MS knowledge base to no avail. A client machine on Outlook 2003 with Word as e-mail editor. When the user creates a new e-mail or replies to a received e-mail the font changes to a huge font. The recipient gets the email in a normal font size.
If you go into the sent items, the email font is normal size. I've gone into tools, mail format, font and everything is setup correctly, (default). If I disable Word as the email editor the problem disappears. I?m suspecting it?s a Word issue but I can?t figure it out. Any help is appreciated! I've never experienced this, but doing a little poking around I found this article: Within it, it says 'If you want all new documents that you create to have a specific font, a graphic such as a logo, or specific ruler and tab settings, you can modify the Normal template.
For example, when text that has Calibri font size 14 is sent from Outlook for Mac to Microsoft Outlook for Windows or Outlook Web App, the text may be displayed as a font size other than 14 when the message is received on the other operating system. Vidio editor for mac.
' This would hold true even if you just opened up Word and tried to amend a new document. I would start there, and if the issue is the normal.dot, try renaming the original and copying and pasting a known good template from perhaps your computer (if they are same version).
You can find the default template by going to TOOLS -> Options -> File Locations ->user templates.
You really should wait for the company's next event. A new Mac Mini is on the way as is a new MacBook Air that will finally have a more modern design and a high-resolution display. Hi guys, I'm having some trouble deciding, so I figured this community might help me out. So anyways, I was looking to buy the current Macbook. The Mac mini was refreshed in October 2018 after more than four years without an update. The new machine, which comes in Space Gray, features 4- and 6-core 8th-Generation Intel Core processors up to five times faster than the previous Mac mini, four Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, support for up to 64GB RAM, and all SSD configurations with up to 2TB of storage available. Should i wait for new mac mini 2016. You do NOT want to buy a new Apple iMac, Mac Pro or Mac Mini anytime soon - this is why APPLE CEO Tim Cook has assured employees that the iPhone company is still committed to the iMac, Mac Pro. Aside from the Mac Pro and the new MacBook, all Mac product lines are getting long in the tooth in terms of design (iMac: 3 years, Mac mini: 5 years, MacBook Air: 5 years, and MacBook Pro: 3 years) and I think they will get redesigned by either next year or 2017.
I upgraded from Outlook 15.25 to 15.26 (running on OS X 10.10.5) this week and ever since the size of the text in plain text messages I receive is larger, too large in my opinion. This is in the reading pane and if I open the message in a separate window (my usual habit). If I copy the text into another application that handles styled text (Word doc, TextEdit), it says it's Consolas 11pt but it's much smaller than it was displayed in the received message. I have to increase the size to ~15pt in other applications to make it as large as it appears in Outlook. If I press Command-minus, the plain text email reduces in size to about what I think it was before the 15.26 update; Outlook calls it 9pt but it's the size of 11pt text in other applications. Of course this zooming-out is per-message, not a viable solution.
