Feb 11, 2016  I don't understand how Microsoft can sell a product that don't offer any software support for Windows 10. Without the software to run the LifeCam.

I was struggling with my Microsoft Lifecam Studio webcam because it was not working properly. I have a Retina MacBook Pro 15″ (late 2013) and I test the camera with the PhotoBooth app on Mavericks.

All I was able to see was a super burned white-colored image. After researching online for solutions I came across this program on the App store that costs USD 8.

I must say, it was worth it, because from the moment I installed it, the problem was solved. Now I am able to use my camera without any troubles. Its a little bit strange that Apple doesn’t support this camera which costs around USD 80 (Its not a cheap one) and the idea of having another App always running just make something I think should be supported by OS X bothers me a little bit. But well, I guess this is part of the Apple vs Microsoft war, at least I don’t have to purchase another webcam now.

This is the software that is needed to use this LifeCam. Below is the available software and firmware downloads for Windows 7 32 & 64 bit. And Windows 8 & 8.1. These will NOT work on Windows 10. Pdf to word mac free. Microsoft is pushing people to upgrade to Windows 10.

Yet is unable to support there own product such as LifeCame Studio. When does Microsoft plan to get a Windows 10 LifeCam SOFTWARE download?
