It's an incredible game, the best sandbox (non-space exploration) I've ever played, but again, this will depend on the Mac. Unfortunately it appears to be a hardware taxing game. I've been playing it on my Windows box but plan in the near future of cranking it up on my MBP (signature), but this too will be on Windows as I find I get better performance on Windows versus the MacOS.
